For more than 10 years I’ve been enjoying my entrepreneurship in different fields of web technology and graphic design.
This thanks to my wonderful clients that I’ve been lucky enough to work with throughout my career. It really comes to show that work should not be viewed as some formal legal agreement, but more as a creative connection between two enterprising individuals.
The Perfect Collaboration
Starting a business is not only a beautiful road to independence, but also a road to more joy in life. Finding the right business partners to reach can be hard, especially if your starting budget is low.
I’ve been there and I can relate. With this in mind I am open to collaborate with anyone, regardless of the budget, even if there is zero budget for a website! My philosophy of the perfect collaboration is achieved by the will to help each other, which results in an outcome of not only a great final product, but also a healthy enjoyable relationship which is likely to last forever.
My Experience?
Since I was a young rascal I was always busy creating digital drawings, animations and fan websites on my parent’s Windows computer. My parents caught on to this and motivated me greatly to start an education related to creating digital products. I graduated in 2 studies; graphic design & interactive design.
While studying in Amsterdam for interactive design, I became inspired by classes in entrepreneurship. One of the assignments for this class was to create a theoretical business plan. This business plan turned out to not be theoretical at all because I pushed it trough; making my own portfolio website and business cards. While visiting networking events after school I managed to find my first clients which eventually snowballed into a good starting network after my final graduation!
What is currently on my mind?
In 2022 I began to gather clients outside of the Netherlands. One of the main reasons for this is that a lot of countries in Europe don’t consider websites to be a big thing. As I began to find more work internationally, it became a great business opportunity to grow my enterprise and to follow the sun with business trips.
Since the beginning of 2023 I have been offering high quality hosting, which is growing quite rapidly; 125+ sunny websites are currently hosted on the cloudy server!
